The Series Elite Project 8 Jaguar made it’s public track debut at Silverstone over the weekend, as the series brought together potential racers for the opening season’s racing in 2019, to test the SVO built car at the inaugural MotorsportDays.LIVE event.

Eighteen possible Series Elite drivers attended two days of Project 8  evaluation tests and, without exception, every driver was impressed by the performance and handling of SVO’s creation.

Racers Ray Grimes and Andy Schulz provided expert instruction and coaching, for those who needed some guidance, and all drivers, within a few laps, got to grips with the car on the new Pirelli Trofeo tyres.

Silverstone was kind, with mild conditions and a rain free couple days, the cars performing faultlessly throughout the test.

Series Elite CEO Graeme Glew commented; “We had a mixture of drivers, some with past race experience, some already racing in other series and quite a few complete novices so a good mix, so far we have nine confirmed orders so we are looking strong for a twenty-car grid in 2019.

With several options in addition to outright purchase, drivers can get behind the wheel using an attractive finance package and even a rental option. Series Elite is becoming a very viable and exciting route for our potential customers.”

Series Elite’s Ian Fletcher added; “MotorsportDays.LIVE provided us with the perfect platform with which to launch the Series Elite Jaguar Project 8’s to the public for the first time. The feedback we received from guests was phenomenal and the car performed faultlessly. We have no doubt Series Elite is going to be a fantastic success”

MotorsportDays.LIVE Event Director Ben Whibley added; “Fifty exhibitors, 120 cars on track and over 2,000 people through the doors. These incredible stats clearly demonstrate that there was a definite need for a motorsport event that combines on track time with exhibition halls. Cars, the lifeblood of our sport, should always be up front and centre in any motorsport event and I believe that we have achieved that here over the past two days.

I believe that MotorsportDays.LIVE has created a platform that allows every racer to raise their game and reach new levels of motorsport”.

Further tests are available for any potential racers to sample the awesome Series Elite Project 8 Jaguar…
