The first batch of seven cars came off Jaguar’s Special Vehicle Operations [SVO] production line last week, and will be soon on their way to Slidesports for conversion to race specification.

The base colour of the majority of the cars will be white and then wrapped in drivers own, or sponsor personalised, colour schemes in time for the first race at Brands Hatch on May 11th/12th.

Eight cars are now confirmed on the grid of the famous Kent track, and further cars will bolster the Series’ numbers over the course of the season.

Following appearances at two of the biggest motor vehicle shows in the UK – Autosport International, and the London Classic Car Show, alongside it’s designer, Ian Callum’s stunning array of machinery – testing new drivers has gone well and without exception the response has been 100% favourable.

Six time Olympic, and eleven time World Champion, Sir Chris Hoy MBE recently tested the car and was very impressed, so much so that he is planning to race at the last round in Portimao in October.

There are still opportunities to join this very exclusive club and further driver evaluation will take place mid-March and in to April. There are several options – buy, rent, lease and even a couple of opportunities to do some one off race events at selected venues.
